New Year 2017

Hello. We hope you had a great Christmas and New Year. We were fortunate enough to spend New Year in North Devon. A few days in Appledore and a day and an evening in Braunton, with lovely friends. Appledore has a great atmosphere at New Year - everybody - I mean everybody - gets dolled up in fancy dress and goes pub to pub.. now there are not that many so the pubs are heaving. We plan to go next year and take it all in.

Time now to think about a winter weekend away - lovely walks - warm fires in the pubs and plenty to see and do. We ate a few times in the Instow Arms at New Year and were impressed with the Food and Service - so one for the list to try when you visit.
